Who do you call for roadside assistance at Gilmore Place?
Call Rescue Towing. We are a local, independently owned team that works all of Brentwood around the clock, and Gilmore Place is one of its busiest corners. A dead battery, a lockout, a flat or an empty tank around the towers is usually sorted where the car sits. If it is not, we line up the right tow through our Brentwood roadside assistance service and give you the price before anything moves. Send us the location to start.
Gilmore Place is Onni Group's 12-acre master-planned block around Gilmore SkyTrain station, with addresses at 4180-4190 Lougheed Hwy and 2108-2186 Gilmore Ave. The station is at 2199 Gilmore Ave, and its only entrance is at the northeast corner of Gilmore Ave and Dawson St, as the Gilmore station entry notes. That corner is a handy meeting point if you are not sure how to describe where you are. Buchanan West sits directly north across Lougheed, and we cover it on our Buchanan West roadside page.
Phase 1 brought three towers of 64, 51 and 43 storeys, and Two Gilmore Place, at 64 storeys, is the tallest tower in Metro Vancouver. Phase 2 was still to be built as of July 2024, according to RENX's Phase 1 report, so construction traffic and shifting curb space are part of the picture here. If your car will not come back to life, flatbed towing at Gilmore Place or a light duty tow from Gilmore Place is the next step.
What makes roadside assistance at Gilmore Place different?
Gilmore Place is built around people on foot, and that changes how we reach a stuck car.
Pedestrian-only streets
The 2018 plan put pedestrian-only streets through the site. We cannot drive along them, so we meet you at a street edge on Gilmore Ave, Dawson St or Lougheed Hwy, or come down into the parking.
A big underground garage
The plan called for about 1,800 parking spaces in Phase 1. Give us the tower, the level and the stall so we are not searching ramps.
Shoppers' cars
A 55,000 sq ft T&T Supermarket anchors about 180,000 sq ft of retail, so many calls are shoppers coming back to a car that will not start. Wait somewhere dry and we will call when we reach the car.
Bus and station traffic
Routes 28, 129 and N9 serve Gilmore station. We will not boost a car in a bus stop, so if you stalled in one, we move it a short way first and work from a legal spot.
Phase 2 construction
Three more towers and a commercial podium are still to come. Curb lanes can close for site work, so tell us about any cones or fencing near your car.

Gilmore Place roadside assistance: fixed on the spot or towed away?
Most Gilmore Place calls end with you driving off. Some do not. Here is how we decide.
Usually fixed at Gilmore Place
- A battery drained by lights left on while you shopped at T&T
- Keys locked inside after loading groceries in the parkade
- A flat on a car with a usable spare and room to jack it
- An empty tank on Lougheed Hwy near Gilmore station
- Tires gone soft overnight, aired up so you can reach a shop
Usually needs a tow
- A battery that dies again right after a boost
- A flat with a bent rim or no spare in the trunk
- Warning lights, smoke or a grinding noise from the engine
- An AWD car that cannot roll in neutral, which rides on a flatbed
- A box truck too heavy for a light tow, covered by heavy duty towing at Gilmore Place
Gilmore Place roadside assistance questions
Can you reach a car near the pedestrian-only streets?
Cars are not meant to be parked on those streets, so you are most likely in the parkade or at a street edge. Tell us which way you walked out and we will work it out together.
Will you boost an electric car in the Gilmore Place parkade?
Yes, if the 12-volt battery is what has gone flat. That small battery runs the computers that wake the car. If the main battery is empty, the car needs a flatbed to a charger or a shop.
Is roadside help at Gilmore Place available late at night?
Yes, we are open 24 hours. Tell us if you are waiting near the station entrance so we can find you.
How do I know what it will cost?
The price is confirmed with you before any work starts. Our cost guide explains what goes into it.
Do you cover the neighbouring towers too?
Yes, all of Brentwood. Close by are roadside help at Madison Centre and SOLO District roadside assistance.
