How does wheel lift towing work at The Amazing Brentwood?
The Amazing Brentwood is SHAPE's 28-acre site at Willingdon Ave and Lougheed Hwy, with towers, shops and offices stacked over more than 2,000 surface and underground stalls. Most of our calls here start below ground. A wheel lift truck is shorter than a flatbed, and its arm lifts a car from the front or rear without needing room to tilt a deck, which helps on ramps and in tight drive aisles. It is the site-specific side of our Brentwood wheel lift towing service.
The centre's parking page lists entrances on Beta Ave, Halifax Way, Alpha Way, and Brentwood Blvd across from CIBC. It also says cars left overnight may get a warning and can be towed by the mall's contracted impound tower. We are not that company. The parkade height is not published, so we always ask you to read the clearance sign at the entrance you used. If our truck clears it, the car rides up the ramp on the wheel lift. EVs parked at the P1 chargers or the P2 Tesla Superchargers usually leave on dollies or on a flatbed at The Amazing Brentwood, since most should not roll on their drive wheels.

Can you tow my car if the mall flagged it overnight?
If it is still in its stall and you have the keys, yes, to your chosen shop or home. If it has been moved already, it is with the mall's contracted impound tower.
Will the wheel lift truck fit in the parkade?
We check against the posted sign. A wheel lift truck is shorter than a flatbed, but nothing goes in until the clearance checks out.
My EV died while charging on P1. What now?
Most EVs should not roll with the drive wheels on the ground. We plan dollies or a flatbed and tell you which one before hookup.
Do I need to stay with the car?
