What does heavy duty towing in Brentwood usually involve?
Brentwood is a town centre being rebuilt around three Millennium Line stations: Brentwood Town Centre, Gilmore and Holdom. That means a steady flow of concrete trucks, dump trucks, cube vans and moving trucks on Lougheed Hwy and Willingdon Ave, plus the buses using the bays at Brentwood Town Centre station. A light tow truck can't lift any of them. Our commercial and heavy duty side brings a wrecker sized to the vehicle, and the rest of our towing services in Brentwood cover everything smaller.
Most heavy calls here come from a short list of places. There are the big construction blocks along Lougheed, the delivery runs into the malls and grocery stores, the Still Creek light-industrial strip near Costco, and the Highway 1 ramps at Exits 28 and 29. Each one has its own setup problem. A stalled mixer at a job-site gate in Concord Brentwood needs a different plan from a box truck that quit at a dock door on Still Creek Ave.
We are a local, independently owned team and we answer 24 hours. Tell us the vehicle, its weight if you know it, and the nearest cross street, and we confirm the price before any hookup. If it turns out the truck only needs a boost or a tire, our roadside assistance crew can often handle it where it sits.
Where in Brentwood do heavy duty tows come from?
Each part of Brentwood sends us different heavy vehicles. These are the ones we plan for, area by area.
Gilmore Place
Onni's 12-acre block at Gilmore station still has Phase 2 to build, so mixers and dump trucks work the Gilmore Ave side. See heavy duty towing at Gilmore Place.
Concord Brentwood and Brentwood Block
Dawson Park construction to 2028 and Grosvenor's six-tower block next door keep heavy trucks moving along Dawson St, Beta Ave and Alpha Ave.
The Amazing Brentwood
Retail deliveries, moving trucks for the towers, and buses at the Willingdon and Lougheed bays. Details on the Amazing Brentwood heavy duty page.
Buchanan West
Big-box stores and a hotel on the north side of Lougheed between Gilmore and Madison take freight trucks into wide surface lots. More on Buchanan West heavy towing.
Still Creek industrial
Dock-level warehouses at Still Creek Ave and Willingdon Ave, and M2 industrial land at Boundary Rd, are built for straight trucks and semis.
Brentwood Park and Willingdon Heights
Mostly homes, so heavy calls are moving trucks and renovation trucks on residential streets. See Willingdon Heights and Brentwood Park.

How do Burnaby truck rules shape a heavy duty tow in Brentwood?
Burnaby sets rules for heavy vehicles, and a tow truck carrying one is part of that. This is how we plan a heavy move through Brentwood.
- 01
Weigh it up
We ask for the make, model and load. Over 11,800 kg, the city requires the vehicle to stay on Burnaby's designated truck routes, taking the shortest way to the nearest one. - 02
Check the clock
Oversize trucks can't travel in Burnaby from 7 to 9 am or 3 to 6 pm on weekdays. If the tow truck and vehicle together are oversize, we plan the move outside those windows. - 03
Pick the hookup spot
Many Brentwood towers park cars underground, where a heavy wrecker can't fit. If the vehicle is below ground, we work out how to get it to street level first. - 04
Set up safely
On Lougheed or Willingdon we position the wrecker to keep lanes and bus bays as clear as we can, with lights and cones out. - 05
Deliver
We take it to your shop, yard or dealer, and confirm the drop-off with you before we leave.
Heavy duty towing in Brentwood: common questions
Can you tow a truck stuck in a Brentwood parkade?
Usually not from inside with a heavy wrecker, because underground clearance is the limit. Smaller vans can sometimes come out with a wheel lift tow. Our post on underground parkade towing explains the options.
Do you handle trucks broken down near the Highway 1 ramps?
Yes. Tell us whether you are at Exit 28 (Boundary Rd) or Exit 29 (Willingdon Ave), and which side of the ramp you stopped on.
Can my heavy truck wait on the street until morning?
Often not. Burnaby doesn't let trucks over 11,800 kg park on streets that aren't truck routes, and vehicles over 3,600 kg can't park overnight on city streets. Moving it the same night is safer.
How is the price set?
It depends on the vehicle, the distance and the setup, and we give it before the hookup. You can send us the details or read our tow cost guide.
