When do Willingdon Heights drivers need a flatbed tow?
Willingdon Heights is the residential area bounded by Boundary Rd, Willingdon Ave, Hastings St and Lougheed Hwy, though some sources put the south edge at Grant and Graveley streets. Much of it was built under the National Housing Act of 1944, and in 1952 about 90% of residents were veterans and their families. Today it is mostly detached houses with some newer condos and townhouses. Our calls here are covered under flatbed towing across Brentwood.
A flatbed is the right truck when the car is AWD, electric, lowered or damaged. Older detached homes come with all sorts of driveways and lane garages, so tell us if yours is steep or tight. If the deck cannot line up, we pull the car to the street first with a wheel lift in Willingdon Heights or dollies. A plain front-wheel-drive no-start may only need light duty towing in Willingdon Heights.
The neighbourhood sits between two Highway 1 exits, Exit 28 at Boundary Rd and Exit 29 at Willingdon Ave. That gives the deck truck a direct route to shops around Metro Vancouver. To the southwest, the Lougheed and Boundary junction is the Vancouver-Burnaby line. For a dead battery or a lockout, roadside assistance in Willingdon Heights may be enough.
Willingdon Heights Park opened in 1949 and is the largest park in the area, with a sports field and the community centre. Games and programs bring lots of parked cars to the streets around it, and a car with a dead battery or a damaged wheel can end up boxed in. We bring the deck as close as the street allows and winch from there. Every other service we run is listed on our towing services page.
Along Hastings St, The Heights commercial district has shops and restaurants with street parking out front. A lowered car that scraped a curb, or an EV that will not restart after a stop, is a typical call there. To the east, Costco sits past Willingdon in the Still Creek industrial area, and we pick up from those lots too. Either way the car rides flat, strapped at each wheel, to wherever you choose. The neighbourhood across Willingdon is covered on Brentwood Park flatbed towing.
What do Willingdon Heights residents ask about flatbed towing?
Can you pick up at Willingdon Community Centre?
Yes. It is at 1491 Carleton Ave inside Willingdon Heights Park, the area's largest park at 5.67 ha. Tell us which lot or curb you are at.
My car broke down on Hastings St in The Heights. Can you load it there?

Do you tow from Brent Gardens on Halifax St?
Yes. Some listings place it in Willingdon Heights. See Brent Gardens flatbed towing for its parkade.
What will a flatbed tow from my house cost?
That depends on the car and the trip, and you get the price before we hook up. Our tow cost guide for Brentwood explains the factors.
